At a young age, our knowledgeable owner Charlie began working at his family’s local auto repair shop, where he became familiar with every type of vehicle. Throughout his many years in the automotive industry, Charlie acquired a firsthand understanding of cars, and more specifically their many parts. During this time, he also picked up and hauled scrap metal all over Southern Ontario, which led him to shift his professional focus to recycling.
In 2011, Charlie started Specialized Recycling with just a pick-up truck, and his personal tools. Over the past 13 years, he has grown our team to significantly expand our recycling capabilities. With our conveniently located yard, and modern machinery, we make recycling simple and lucrative for all Londoners.
